Ryanair B 757-200

Postby tinpusher » Sat Sep 22, 2012 9:51 am

Good day all!
After downloading and installing Eugene Douglas's beautiful B 757 there is no HSI showing in the instrument panel.
Only a blue screen is visible where the HSI image should be....
Am I doing something wrong?

Did you get all of the gauges from the .zip file transferred into the Gauges folder in your main directory? You should have both a 2D and 3D (VC) panel. Does the EHSI show up in one or the other, or are both panels affected? Are there any other gauges which seem affected?

Sorry Hagar......I guess I wasnt very clear, I completely understood that this was a Posky plane.....I was just being a smart-a$$ about yet ANOTHER posky plane that fails to work (out of the box) as advertised......I followed the rather short and vague install instructions and............nothin!! no VC   :'(......and no HSI in 2D
Why can't they just release their projects ready to use?  :D

No problem. I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic. ;)

I tried it in FS9. The VC works fine although none of the gauges are clickable. You have to select the correct version of the aircraft.

I discovered that at least one gauge is missing which is the cause of the original problem. The file name is 757multi.cab. I found it in another 757 package.

A 747 was halfway across the Atlantic when the captain got on the loud speaker, "Attention, passengers. We have lost one of our engines, but we can certainly reach London with the three we have left. Unfortunately, we will arrive an hour late as a r esult." http://www.mmomesos.com
Shortly thereafter, the passengers heard the captain's voice again, "Guess what, folks. We just lost our third engine, but please be assured we can fly with only one. We will now arrive in London three hours late."

At this point, one passenger became furious. "For Pete's sake," he shouted, "If we lose another engine, we'll be up here all night!" http://www.mmohome.com
