What are ENC files?

Tried to unzip WOAI US Airways and it shows as a .ENC file and can't open it. Google searches really didn't help. That happens also on the British Airways d/l.

Tom,

.enc files are found within WOAI package .zips and some older MAIW package zips. You must install the package using the WOAI installer.

You can get the WOAI installer here-http://www.world-of-ai.com/allpackages.php#airlines

Read the intaller instructions here-http://www.world-of-ai.com/installer.html. They're also included in the installer download.

Most relevant to your question, you do not unzip the downloaded zip file. Simply point the installer at the zip file.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
