Swingman's J2F6 duck gauge problem

Wondering why the flight attitude indicator is off like this. It will not move from that position either and I checked as much as I could from the VC that the vacuum pump was on.

I continued the test flight which started with a taxi into the water, retracting the gear, then a water take off. I started at the Mars Water Bomber amphib base then went to the nearest hard runway for a test touch-n-go....however, the gear would not lower. So no sweat, just headed back to Sproat Lake and did a water landing back at the Mars Bomber base HOWEVER, on landing I discovered the fuel gauge also had stopped working. It was indicating I was empty when I still had about 45% full fuel load left (took off with 50%).
Something definitely is off on the system of this fowl. Other than that it is great fun!
