FSnav
SEEMS to have been recently released on the abandonware market by its coder (
though I could be wrong... I read this on another forum some time ago... or at least I THINK it was another forum... been a while... and still needs confirmation)... anyway, FSnav has been out of market for a while now. Should you want to try, go here:
http://www.flightsimworld.com/downloads ... e/435.html if what I read is true, you'll not need any registration, else you'll have a pair of weeks of tryout anyway and a chance (
1 on 30) to see FSnav register itself free anyway, as you can read on the linked page.
FScommander is and remains payware... if you're interested, you can google its name and you'll find everything.
As for the other external flight planners, there are many freeware, though it's been years I've been using FSnav and never had the need to check any of them out, you can always use the search engines of the various freeware FS sites.
There is no such a thing as overkill. Only unworthy targets.
