Garry have you been OD'ing on the Nescafe again? That is simply incredible! I've never seen so many textures for one plane :o :o :o

Hi Gentlemen,
Caffeine - can't get enough of it during this project......

Edward, the project driver implies that we will top out at about 230ish - - not bad for an aircraft that only had 199 built over several models - but hundreds of different organizations and individuals used them over and over again - including rebuilding new ones from several wrecks.

Edward got hold of a Ford 1926 to 1992 book - got fascinated and then sent me a copy of the book and away we went - he passes the page reference for pictures and does a lot of research to detail the plane up and leaves it all to me to be creative and turn black and white into color.  And of course some fiction pops up frequently.

This is indeed the bigger number of liveries I have done for any particular aircraft - full of Fact, Fiction and Fun artwork.

When I have finished it all off I intend to make it all into a self installing package - to make it easier to get hold of them all and enjoy the majority of them without fooling around with download - add to Ford - edit aircraft.cfg etc etc etc.

There will also be some special AI traffic for using these in various places all over the world being planned.  Which will also be a full self install package.

Regards and hope your enjoying them.

Wow!  Now that's a lot of textures!
Would you mind making a button that will let you download all the textures at once?  I really don't want to go pressing all 180 buttons, dragging all 180 seprate textures, having 180 windows explorers open, or copy and paste 180 diffrent sections into the cfg.

Hi Mate,

I mentioned in my last post the following:

"When I have finished it all off I intend to make it all into a self installing package - to make it easier to get hold of them all and enjoy the majority of them without fooling around with download - add to Ford - edit aircraft.cfg etc etc etc."

Which means that it will be as you ask when I am finished all of the textures - One Click Install

We are getting closer to that goal with another 8 finished today - will be on the web tomorrow.

Regards

Wow, you folks are doing a great job...well done... ;)

I am sure the Ford Tri-Motor was on floats also although I have not done a search yet.

Will we see some textures of the aircraft on floats also Gary?... :)

Will this also be available for FSX?... :)
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Hi Flying Trucker,

Microsoft did not release a FLOATS or SKI version of the Ford Tri-Motor.  Therefore, sorry no FLOATS or SKI repaints.

I mention on my site that these textures will work fine for those who have successfully ported the FS2004 Microsoft Default Ford Tri-Motor over to FSX.

Regards and happy simming.
