How do I change a bgl file to an ADF file so that AFCAD 2.21 can open it? I want to make some changes to it using AFCAD.

Afcad 2.21 does not need/use an 'adf' file. It obtains the airport data from the default .bgl.

If this is your first Afcad 2.21 project a good place to start is to read the excellent Help file. It will explain everything in detail. Click on Help in Afcad.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

I am confused (not hard to do it seems).

Afcad can only open bgl files.

Why are you wanting to change a bgl to adf?

I may be way off base here, but if memory serves, adf is the extension used by the payware Airport Design Facillitator program as it's "work" files. If that is correct then only the ADF program can make use of files with that extension.

Is KUDG a addon and if  so, what is the filename so we can check it out.

More details would be helpful.

KUDG is a stock airport. It is located in the Name folder and it's number is AP926190.bgl. I tried opening it in AFCAD 2.21 and it would not open. The message was that it was not an adf formatted file. Hence I am confused. I have spent several days trying to open the file with no success. I want to add some taxiways and some ILS systems. But if AFCAD cannot open the airport I am up a creek.
