Has anyone seen shooting stars?

G'day guys,

I read once that there is an Easter Egg in Fs9 where if you watch the night sky long enough, you'll see a shooting star.

I've done my fair share of night flights - including an 11 hour long-haul from Asia to Europe in complete darkness the whole way - but have never seen it - am I missing something?

Yup, I've seen 'em. Freaked me out the first time too, thought I had a hardware problem! Oddly enough though, I've only noticed them when I'm flying in spot view.

I see them a fair bit, both day & night, and in cockpit or spot view. An effect can be added with the desired coordinates, mine looks like this:
