can you lend me your world.cab file?

Postby brantmacga » Sun Oct 31, 2010 1:29 am

was reinstalling fs9 and it seems my disk #4 is scratched, and the world.cab is corrupted.

I can open all the cab files except that one.

can anyone copy the file from disk 4 and email it to me? I figured i could extract it and manually install.

(email address removed)

I would be eternally grateful!

I still have my original discs in there origin case purchased in 2005. It's surprising how long they all last when you don't have to use them (opps!) ::)

I have the fs9 no CD patch file also, but things still happen.

of course i'll have to buy it again, but i was hoping in the meantime someone would be kind enough to lend me the files so i can get up and going again. i bought some new payware scenery last night before i tried to reinstall and now I'm bummed about not being able to use it.

it would be a good idea if EVERYONE bookmarked the following page.  you never know when it might come in handy.

This 1 page has saved my sim a few dozen times until i had finally bought a new HDD about a year ago.  Before that, stuff kept randomly coming up missing.
