Does installing new airport scenery disrupt the AI?

Should have no effect at all - except perhaps allow AI to visit the "scenery" (I assume you mean airport) in question because it may have included parking spaces where non existed before.

to elaborate on OPA a little deeper... if you have AI going to your airport in question, if you update it with another addon, then you will loose that AI cause they dont know where they are supposed to "park".

however, if you want to update the Himalaya Mountains, your AI for Boston Logan or the rest of the US will not be affected at all.

Huh?

The only time this will happen is if the addon changes the ICAO code for the airport in question. This is a very rare situation.

To answer the original question -

Does installing new airport scenery disrupt the AI?

99.999% of the time upgrading an airport from default will enhance AI performance.

Thanks much. I just installed  the Palm Springs California Airport and none of the AI seems to be landing their.
