LAT & LONG DISPLAY

Postby Skittles » Thu Dec 03, 2009 6:49 pm

I think the Search feature is broken...

My current LAT & LONG display format is NDD* MM.mm

Is it possible to get three or four decimal places?

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Try this...

In the [MAIN] section of your FS9.cfg add ..

Display_Fractional_Minutes=0

cheers,
Joe

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Answers in less than 10 minutes.

Thank you... thank you... thank you,

But what I actually need is more decimals in the Minute  NDD* MM.mmmm

What your suggestion does is give me  NDD* MM SS.ssss

I am not aware of anything other than what has already been suggested that can be accessed on the FS screen.

However the free TCalc program by Richard Ludowise can be used to get far more precise coordinates.

Look for tcalc_v2.zip

If it is not in the library here, it is available at Avsim.com.

Hope that helps.
