Are you referring to a specific plane that is supposed to have a tailhook?

The tailhook command is used to control an animation built into the model.

If the animation is not there, simply adding the tailhook section to the aircraft.cfg won't do anything.

Joe

[color=#000000]And I can't even get an F-14 trapped. I can't get the wire to work.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

what carrier are you trying to land on?

try downloading / installing the Waikato Carrier (off the coast of New Zealand) ...

also, you may need RCBCO-20 to get the cat/trap to work properly, as well as ArrCab26. http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/perlf ... q=arrcab26

I bought the Abacus Flightdeck package with 5 aircraft & a working arrestor set-up, & land everything from a 747-400 to an Auster on it.    Great fun ;D :D 8-)
When the c**p hits the fan, get a tent.
