splash screen off center

Postby Capt.Propwash » Mon Nov 23, 2009 10:30 pm

as the title says, my UIRES splash screen is off center.  when I boot up FS9 it is in the Lower Left corner of my screen and not in the dead middle as it should be.

there was a post before about this, but i'll be danged if i can find it now.  Any suggestions?

Thanks.

At the main menu screen, hit (Alt+Enter) to change to windowed mode. Grab the white title bar and re-center the window.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Have you changed your monitor resolution lately through Windows?

Capt..,

This can happen if you were 'flying' in windowed mode, in a downsized window that you have moved off center......maybe multi-tasking with the sim running? The sim remembers that position when you quit, even if you returned to maximized or full screen mode before quiting, and applies it to the splash screen.

Just re-center the menu (or the 'flying' window) as I described above and the splash screen will re-center.
