So long old Sim, I'm leavin' Cheyenne

Just completed my final attempt to get this copy of FS9 going (complete manual uninstall - security off install - the whole nine yards).

I am not an nVidia user, so this may be way off base.

I remember reading somewhere that nVidia cards, might be just nHancer, come preloaded with FS9 profiles.

I also remember reading that the preloaded profile is best deleted, and rebuilt from scratch.

Don't know if this would help, and can't recall it being mentioned in your other topics.

Hope this helps,
Joe

I just sprung for a copy of FSX. I doubt my system will be able to run it at any where near where my FS9 is right now, but its been nagging at me for weeks to go buy a copy.

I've got fingers crossed i can make some thing half decent from it though, might be a good plan B

After lots of to and froing with different drivers, I discovered my card is fine.

The "bible" for setting up FSX is in NickN's sticky thread at the top of the FSX forum section.

[quote]Tell us how it performs for you - for comparison, I'm using an Intel dual core E6300 2.8/Biostar G31E-M7 mobo/8800GTS card/4G Crucial DDR2- 800 Ram/Antec 650W - all in an Antec 900 case.
