For your second question, this is payware but has a demo version:

Provided replacement (read: authentic) soundpacks are used in place of the default sounds, this engages those sounds once the aircraft arrive ready to roll at the active runway. Also provides new exterior views and sets the viewpoint at a convenient location upon landing. Other aircraft sounds such as inside cockpit can be changed as well, although it seems to really come into it's own when viewing aircraft in spot view. Trying it with a C-130 with it's own replacement soundpack made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Highly recommended.
