Real world weather

Postby Sir_Crashalot » Tue Jul 21, 2009 11:18 am

Hi,

is it possible that the real world weather server is down? Haven't been able to get a weather update in some time now.

Well, I checked my side of the internerd and everything seems fine. Ports are set on the router, firewall is set up right. FS9 re-installed but still no real world weather. For now I'll fly user defined, maybe it'll come back one day...

Crash ;) (going to put all the add-ons back in now)

...as an alternative...

"Weather Maker Pro 4.9" (Free) is capable of setting up my real weather en route, via the Internet...;)...!

Paul...Weathering the Storm... 8-)...!

Real Environment (Free) is nice, as well... :-*...!

Hello Micro...

I remember I did a search for it...

It came up...I downloaded "Weather Maker Pro 4.9", (old version from somewhere), and installed it, and I use it daily....for free...which is nice....:)...!

The only one I had to purchase recently was "Ground Environment Pro"...

Hmm. Just looked at the payware version on simMarket (only 9 euros!) and it does indeed look good, so I might give it a go, to sit alongside the fab ISG1 FMC etc. that I got from there a couple of months ago.

Any downsides? I hear you have to have 'render to texture' turned off.

Can someone provide me with a downloadlink to Real Environment? Tried to google it but only get forumthreads or screenshots of it. There seems to be a download available from Avsim but that doesn't work yet. Many thanks in advance.
