I use FSPANEL STUIDO it is payware but well worth every cent. It makes editing panels a kids game. just pick the gauge put it where you want it and you are done.
No more fooling around with the numbers you actually see the panel of the aircraft and see the effect on editing as soon as you do it. This works for FSX ; FS9; and FS Combat sims. 8-)
I know I brag a lot about about this software but It is truly the easiest way to edit or add panels to the Sims ::)

...well worth a try, Gary...;)...!

I normally fiddle with the panel.cfg File for my gauge installations, but FS Panel Studio looks like an excellent purchase for regular Panel Builders...>>>>

I may dive in and purchase it myself...

What about downloadable "Custom" Gauges...can they be added to the library, for use within the program?

The editor recognizes your FS gauges folder, so any gauge that is in there is available for use.  I presume it recognizes the gauges in a panel folder of an aircraft, as well.

Just so you know, I use PSP X2, but I was wanting the PSP 4 just for the vintage "wow" factor. ;D
