No Airports in a corridor from Spain to Italy

Postby Robert Tobin » Sat Apr 04, 2009 3:41 pm

THis question is a result of waking up to the lousy default scenery in FS9. It seems that in the area I quoted the altitudes are wrong making cities seem flat and airports not there aftter I downloaded some addon mesh and/or Photoreal files for Spain, Malta and Italy. There are no no Airports except Fiuminicino which I added. I tried to add an Addon for El-Prat at Barcelona, but got buildings only with no aprons, taxiways or runways. The cities look flat; in Rome you cannot even see the Vatican.

I can't remeber what Mesh files I downloaded. Is there any way I can correct this situation without having to delete FS9 and start all over again?

you did not add the sceneries to your ADDON SCENERY folder????

also, you could go look in your FS9 / SCENERY.cfg file.  its a stand alone file that is NOT in a folder.   At the bottom of the list is the last few things that were added.  If you recognize the offending file, delete it. ---- if it is in your ADDON SCENERY folder (Scenery Library in the sim) Delete it or turn it off.   ~~ This will put your addon Mesh/Scenery back to default.

Thanks Capt.
I shall see what I can do. I have had the Sim for about a year now, but I have not learned all about scenery.
