Speed control problems

Postby wyodeacon » Tue Mar 24, 2009 6:15 pm

I'm sure this has been addressed before but I searched and couldn't find anything.

I have tried several different panels in a project opensky A330-300 and can't seem to get the speed control to work.  Some of the panels in other aircraft have a speed on/off button but I can't locate one in any of these.

Once in flight I push the "speed" button after setting the IAS speed to 250 kts but I can't get it to engage.  Any ideas?

are you pushing the ATT button?? Auto Throtle?  this would tell the plane to keep the XXX speed that you have set.

This is what I'm not seeing.  I've looked all over the panels but haven't found anything like that.

Does this Autothrottle button have to be there or is it possible to build the panel (speed control) without it and just have the SPD button?

I could put an AutoThrottle button on your panel if you want me to.  all that I would need is either the link to where you got your craft (must be freeware)....... or you just email me your PANEL folder for that craft, give me 1 hour or less and I will email the code back to you for the button.

Here's one of the panels.  Notice on the left it has the FD and GPS buttons. Over to the right is the SPD button with a small IAS/MACH button just above it and to the left.  I can't find any other button for speed.
