Default Douglas DC3

Postby flipside » Sun Mar 15, 2009 5:25 am

Somehow I lost the FS9 default Douglas DC3 and I need to replace it. Can someone tell me how I can do this? I need the gauges file from it for another aircraft. bilben94@gmail.com

Did you loose the aircraft or the gauges? Because both are in different folders. Now to replace them is not that difficult. On CD1 of FS2004 extract MSGAME1.cab and you'll find the aircraft folder. On CD2 extract MSGAME3.cab and you'll find the Gauges folder. Just copy what you need to the right folder in FS9.

Good luck.

PS to extract .cab files you can use WinZip or WinRAR.

By default the DC-3 gauge file, 'Douglas_DC3.cab', is installed in  the ..\Douglas_DC3\panel\.. folder. To make the gauges available to other aircraft panels, copy the file to the main ..\Gauges\ folder.

Hi Dave,

I never noticed the DC3 gauges were in it's panel folder until you mentioned it.

Crash ;) (never too old to learn...)
