course setting for the Boeing 787

I am unable to set the course on the camsim Boeing 787. When I place the mouse arrow at the course area I do not get the pointer finger and the plus or minus like I do on the 747. Everything else on the aircraft works as it should. Don't know if anyone else has this problem or am I missing something. Help Please
