Run without #4 CD

Postby antalves » Fri Nov 21, 2008 7:38 am

Every time I begin FS9 I am asked to put first #4CD in the drive. Is there any way to avoid this procedure, copying those files into the computer, for example and editing some .exe file?... :o

Shhhh. Making you use disk 4 to run the sim, is Microsoft's way of preventing piracy. And since SimV has a STRICT no piracy policy, ways of circumventing this measure are not spoken of.

I believe once FS starts you can remove the disc.
But you must have disc 4 installed to start the sim.

If this is not what you're looking for please re-read the above posts.

Ya know, I'm amazed CD #4 is in as good a shape as it is, considering how long I've used it.
