That first time I found the airport by adjusting some knobs and following some beeps on the radio was one of, if not the most fulfilling experiences I've ever had in the sim.
Of course, having said all of that, I still get lost without my trusty FS9 GPS system,Although, I have never had the chance to fly in the real world, it is #1 on my list as soon as the kids grow up and move on. I try to use this game for fun, and early practice for that great future event.
I envy you in that respect fozz, I can think of no better way to spend a day than cruising through the country side, going to the airstrip, flying around in my own plane, and then coming home to a nice self cooked hot plate meal, from a gas cooker no less.
Does anyone have any more route suggestions for this fellow? It seems like most of us strayed from the original topic.
