whats the best way of uninstalling aircraft ect

Hi Can anyone tell me how I can uninstall aircraft I know longer use I am thinking of buying the FS9 manager but before I do I just wondered if there is a way to remove old gauges textures ect.

Well, you can start by deleting the aircraft's main folder in your FS2004/aircraft folder. As for the gauges.....that's a different story, but I install my planes in a way that makes uninstalling a breeze.

When manually installing an addon aircraft, put all of the included gauges for the plane in the aircraft's "panel" folder, rather than the main FS2004 gauges folder. The panel should still work just fine, and it also keeps things a lot more organized.

I just move my unused/unwanted aircraft into another folder within the FS9 aircraft folder. This way they are never loaded into the sim and you never know when you might want them again.
