Visible VC landing lights

Postby Staiduk » Sat Nov 01, 2008 2:22 am

'Lo!

Does anyone know offhand if it's possible to make the landing and taxi lights visible from the VC in certain aircraft?

The ship in question is the iFly 747; my latest toy. The headlights are visible in exterior and 2D, but not in VC. I tried tinkering a bit with the .cfg but so far no success. This is the only ship in my fleet that has this issue.

Thanx!

I think that (like the VC) this is model specific, so if the modeller didn't put the lights in originally, there may not be much you can do.

Other views?

Agree....unless there is an official fix somewhere for the model file. I know there is a service pack 3 for this a/c; but don't think it covers this problem. There are other planes out there with this fault...the modelers just seem to forget the VC sometimes.....commoner ;)

Yeah - I've all 3 packs installed; they don't address the lights, unfortunately. Not a major issue, though. The jet's incredible for freeware and any errors like that are minor. I just wish it wasn't so much of a frame-rate hog. :)
