See this square matrix??

Postby Nessim » Sun Oct 26, 2008 12:33 pm

I'm having this problem since weeks ago. I've been installing some addons: Scenaries, trees, grass and airport enhancement, but don't know what can produce it:

Appears In deserts, ice, grass...as the aircraft goes, appears behind this matrix >:(
Some idea? FS2004...

Thanks in advanced.

It's the grass.
The detail is cool at very low altitude, but unfortunately it produce this terrible effect a mid altitude (AND it also tranform your snow in white grass). Go back to the original file for the "grass" addon.

With what little I know abut programming, I think it's a small "map" that is used repeatedly in a mosaic to render terrain. It's got to be easier to throw a small bit of programming up on the screen multiple times than it would be to put one up that's googolpixels in size. Am I close with this idea, anyone?

Yes, surely is the grass, as I installed a grass addon that gives a cool close view in the airports but... don

Always remember to back up when you want to install something.  ;)

Losing those precious Flight Sim files are a pian in the behind. It would take you forever to rebuild your sim after a HDD crash.

Making backups is key. I have two on two different external HDDs, so installing a carbon copy of a heavily-modded sim on a laptop (which I did a couple of months ago) was a relatively short job.
