Just a few questions...

Postby homebrewer » Thu Oct 30, 2008 2:15 pm

Just two questions about what I see when I am in 2D cockpit mode of the default 747...

1) What is the MC-JC thing that's always in the lower right-hand corner of the screen?

2) Why does the pink crosshair thing set at 7.5 (degrees?) once the aircraft has reached the set altitude? This seems to me to be quite an incline. The steepest grade you'll likely find on a US federal interstate highway is 5%. 7.5 degrees would be what-- 17%? Pushing the beverage cart would be quite a bit of exercise...

Not quite sure what the MC-JC is but any airplane does not fly completely level once it is at cruising altitude. This is a plane not a car, and you are not on a road. ::) The other thing you would notice in the real world is as you burn fuel the pitch might change on you some. But it is completely normal for any aircraft to fly with a slight nose up attitude. 8-)

Good question.  This one is completely different.  It may be a serial number.
