Problems with Bacolod

Postby kikkakonekka » Wed Oct 01, 2008 3:12 am

Hello, I am new here.
I have installed the "Bacolod airport", I have made "add area", closed FS2004 and reopened it, and it works fine.
But when I close FS2004 again, and I reopen it, the airport disappear and I have to do "add area" again.
Can anyone please tell me what am I doing wrong?

Thank you

Hi. This problem sounds familiar. Do you have Vista 64-bit? Check this out.  http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1222159849

I suspect that might be the cause of your problem. Unfortunately I have no knowledge of Vista so cannot help. Have you successfully installed other scenery or is this your first attempt?

Aircrafts always work.
Sceneries are 50% OK, 50% not. I have successfully installed Venice and Paris, no good Bacolod and Italy mesh up.

I will not try to reinstall FS9, I will try to launch it with an older version of Windows (it's a Vista feature). I will do my attempts this afternoon.

Well, I have the solution.
If you have a Vista 64-bit (like me) you must run FS9 in "XP service pack 2" mode. It is a Vista feature.
For doing that you must right-click the icon and find in properties the flag to activate.

Thank you for your help.

Thanks for that. It might help others with the same problem.
