FS2004 screen problem

I was playing FS2004 for the first time today,
however when I i minimize the game to switch to the internet
when I go back to the game the screen is black in all parts appart from where the plane thats been selected is on the screen and the only way so far to solve the problem is to restart the computer and load the game up again is there any way of solving the problem i.e. a patch I have vista home premium and the game is made for MS XP and down any help would be appreciated

...I run FS 2004 in full screen mode....

...then press the "Windows" key which sends me to the Desktop...

....do what I want to do...

Then click on the Flight Sim in the Task Bar to bring it back up again... ...!

That works OK for me... ...!

I have tried that and it seems to have worked so far so will keep you posted if it doesn't last many thanks for your help

I don't know what you were doing before, Eddy, but my arrangement always works faultlessly for me...

...a quick flip between the Sim...Desktop...and back again... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

LOL... thats brilliant F, also Ctrl+C to quit instantly.
I was never brought up with the windows keys so never used them but will use it now
