Dortmund Scenery crashed my fs9 continuously

Got this nice scenery on what the pics show for Dortmund I got yesterday from flightsim. It is supposed for fs9. However, even before I could takeoff, my fs9 CTD. The module causing this problem is g2d.dll. That is the ground terrain module. Anybody has any idea what is happening?

You could have the file g2d.dll in a wrong folder. sometimes these dll files need to be in the MODULE folder of FS. Check the read me file that should have come with the scenery. 8-)

The g2d.dll is in the module's folder and the scenery doesn't say that a particular module should be in a particular folder. Thx anyway

It's my understanding that (as you mention) g2d.dll errors  involve  terrain files. This could be faulty or conflicting .bgl's or textures.

I loaded Dortmund and have not encounterd any errors. I do not have any other add-on sceneries in the area, (except for an fsproject 76m mesh).

If you have other scenery add-ons in the area (including afcads) you could try disabling them to see if you can isolate a conflict.

Well Dave this is what I have suspected but since I have got 150 add on scenery and just 15 alone in Germany. It would be hard to find out which add on is contributing to the crash. I have some problem with my Berlin scenery too.
