Radeon X1650

Postby seat183 » Thu Aug 07, 2008 8:45 am

Hey guys. Play fs2004 a lot now but my anti alasing isnt brilliant. I use a Radeon X1650 and sometimes looks like its not on. I have tried using filtering, but that dont work.
I have a not very good system but good enough to play FS2004 OK I think.
1GB Ram
Windows XP Pro
Radeon X1650
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3200+
2.19GHZ

Any suggestions how to get my anti alasising working properly.

Got this card, had that problem with FS9 ONLY!
I turned the AA (all of them!) on the card off and let FS9 handle it, for some reason if I used them both or just the cards, I got real bad jaggies instead of none, with FS9 doing it, things really smoothed out,
Now with FSX I can run the card maxed out on every setting, including all full AA and have FSX AA turned on and the pics are incredible, take a look in the screenart forums for examples.

Turns out Catalyst was being a bit of an idiot. seemed to crash my PC when i installed it. Worked around it now. Have it installed. I have good quality AA now and great gameplay. Thanks all.
