3 - 5 minutes after take-off all my avionics go blank, incl. GPS, flaps, nav.lights, AP, etc. This is new & I can't work out why?
In one panel I noticed a battery switch had clicked off & power was restored when I clicked it back on (slapped wrists for the C-P & told not to play again) BUT - this has happened in other aircraft & I wonder is there a bug in FS9 that can cause this? Going into Alt & aircraft selection to reload the aircraft sorts it but often power goes again.
As I say - this hasn't happened before!

I'd check to see what your "failure" settings are. (even if you didn't change them) Start your sim in windowed mode, (ALT+ENTER) and from the Aircraft drop-down menu, select Failures. There you should be able to see if the electrics are set to konk out on ya.

Make sure the alternator/generator is turned on, that would cause a loss of power minutes into the flight, as your battery is dead.

Thanks - I'll check it out. I've not changed anything though as it's all going so well I leave it alone apart from changing the weather!! I have been installing lots of WoAI packages! I usually start with running engines too::)

I've checked failure settings & they're all clear. Even if one was set for one aircraft, that wouldn't effect all aircraft I'd have thought? HOWEVER
I got the instrument panel up on my Stoneair Lancer & noticed the generator switches were off. NEVER seen that before so I saved the flight with them on & then checked other aircraft & they all appear switched on.
Fingers crossed & thanks for the tips. Any changes & I'll let you know.

...I reckon...

...when you take off, the extension lead gets pulled out of the wall socket, and thats how you lose all electrical power to the aircraft... ::)
