Ok Found two problems so ill be up and running in no time.
1. While using my spy sweeper spyware remover today i found a very bad virus, that explains why my uninstall.exe file was gone.
2. My drivers need to be updated. when i went to go in the sim it said the drivers were out of date or something and said quote" if you do not update drivers you will either get textures not displaying or the sim will not respond"  Aha thats where i was getting my not responding from. The sim does work and will uninstall and reinstall so i know it will work this time. I just have a question, where can i update my drivers. And another question, i had to delete everything from my fs-2004 since that rotten virus had probaly taken the uninstall.exe file away. However, i took my aircraft file out of fs9 before i deleted everything so i wouldnt lose all 348 of my aircraft, well carenados mooney and cherokee at lease lol, if i take the default aircraft file out of the sim and delete it and put my old aircraft file in would it work.
Now knowing fs-2004 it probaly doesnt but i just wanted to see if it would work. Also i guess ill get the fs9.1 update so stuff like this doesnt happen.
Thanks guys for all the help.
Kevin.

For a start....

NEVER delete your Default Aircraft...

Many of your add-on Aircraft will be aliased to the default Gauges, Sounds, Effects, etc, etc...

Without them, many of your installed/add-on Aircraft will not work correctly!

When you un-installed the FS 2004, all, or most, of your Add-Ons should still be in place in the Folders if you ticked Do Not Remove in the Un-installer!

You will only need to install any items which required "installing" in the first place.

Your Drivers you can obtain from the Manufacturers Sites.
