Flight Simulator Display Problems

For a reason which i do not know, every time I open my flight simulator, it comes in a window as if I were opening an Internet Browser, and during flight, I see a top tool bar (containing a minimize, maximize, and X logos), and a bottom tool bar (containing tabs, time etc.) how do I get rid of this and get it back to the normal full screen flight simulator?

ALT+ENTER is the toggle command for windowed/full-screen mode. I believe the sim will remember which mode it was in last, and resume that mode the next time you restart the sim.
