Right-click on your desktop with the Mouse. Select Properties, and check your settings for "Colour Quality"....it should be "Highest 32 bit"...;)...!

Yours looks like an old 8-bit Colour, 1984, Commodore C64 setting!... ;D

If you haven't lived through the 8-bit, 2 colour, Home Computer Revolution 1979-1989 involving Sinclair Spectrum 48's, and Commodore 64's, you haven't lived...

Does the problem only occur with the FS 2004 Flight Sim?

Are the colours correct on the Desktop, and all other Game Programs?

If its just FS 2004, then, as suggested, a simple uninstall, and a re-install should correct the situation... :)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004.... 8-)...!

I suspect it's the anti-aliasing setting on your video card. Try reducing it.

well i managed to fix the problem, i had to uninstall the video driver, then re-install it. to answer your question, all my colors were fine on the desktop, but with all other games, the video settings were terrible and i was getting very poor frame rates. but problem solved! it was a pain to do though  ;) thanks for all the suggestions!
