Can Anyone help me with this?

Postby DomSQ » Sat Jun 14, 2008 12:00 pm

Hi,I recently downloaded Overlands Fly Into The Sky World Airlines package and I noticed on my 777-300ER the wheels are sinking into the ground, this is a contact point issue I'm guessing?,could anyone please give me a contact fix to get these wheels on top of the ground again, haha.

Have you tried presssing Y(slew mode) once, and then again? Theoreticly it should place it on the ground, if it still sinks then you know for sure its a contact problem!

Also see if this occurs at different airports. Sometimes, addon airport sceneries will "lay on top" of default scenery, and can give this look.

lol,he's probably taking a much needed vacation on the beaches of Dubai,I'll try pressing Y for slew mode and see what happens, but though I'm sure it's a contact point issue as it happens at every airport with this aircraft, the 777-200-200ER,300 Model's are fine, also the A340-200-300-500-600 variations are also fine,it's just the 777-300ER,I've seen this problem with a few flight simmers, and a contact fix has always worked, now just someone to maybe give me a fix,as I don't have a clue with contacts.

Cheers for all the comments so far guys.

PS. I would'nt want to board that particular EK 777-300ER...lol god help the passengers.

Maybe it's too heavy... as in almost 100KB over the allowed limit here for uploaded images (limit is 150). ;)

Please resize it. :)

Yup.  Make the tires smaller, and the lower part won't be below the surface.   Of course a big plane like taht with tiny little wheels would look kind of funny.

Oh, you meant the sig pic.

:D

lol I just hope the guy with the bicycle pump get's off his ass on that Dubai beach,my damn tires need changing,or they'll be alot of unhappy people onboard and those waiting in Manchester for this EK109 flight,we should be over France by now.

Well looks like the passengers are staying in a Dubai Hotel for the night.
