Im not sure ill check now, but the sun wasnt out when it appeared as it was very cloudy and misty and no sign of the sun, and it follows the plane everywhere. Anyway ill go check for it at night ;)
No its not there at night, im sure it carnt be the sun reflections like that when its full clouded over, then again im not sure? :-/
Do you have any water addons? They often add sun refelctions to make it look more realistically in clear skies, but as FS2004 does not support real time reflections as FSX does, the "reflection" of the sun stays even when it is over cast :-/
Ah i see, i did have it on real time so it may well be that. And yes i do have water add-ons. Thanks for your help guys ill try it back on cloudy without real time and see if it works later on tonight. Tim
Try setting the sun at dawn or dusk, then it should stretch out more. And yeah, the technique for real time light rendering wasnt as far as it is during the FSX days.
