Global terrains.

Before I downlaod all the terrain meshes from here at Simv for North America. I was wondering how they compare to the default appearance and such Just alot of downloading if they dont improve that Much. Thanks.

It makes a big difference, without harming framerates.
Higher terrain looks a lot better, although of course it's not perfect.
There are a few little glitches with bodies of water and roads lining up, etc, but nothing serious that I've found so far.

The finer the mesh resolution the more varied and "rugged" the terrain.
