Help Please With Problem

Postby Sputta » Tue Feb 05, 2008 2:06 pm

Hi All

I have installed FS2004 to my windows XP system and when running the game everything seems to work except there is no ground scenery, Just clouds and a light blue nothing for the ground.

Can anyone help me fix this problem.

Thank you in advance

:D  Hi and welcome to Simviation.  I am going to ask the obvious.  Did you  let the scenery install the first time you ran FS9.  It takes a few minutes but it has to be done.  You may have to re-install FS9 and let it run it's course.

:D  Let us know how it goes.  Be sure to uninstall the old setup first.  Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel

This is the Microsoft support link. I had the same problem. It was caused by a defective disk. If this JUST occured and you have installed FS9 times before, it's a software glitch. If this is your first attempt to get FS9 to work then you need to call them up n they'll ship you a new FS9 free of charge. Whatever it is, is unfixable because it is a corrupt World.cab file. All you need is a phone and the product ID.
