Problem Post-Combustion

Hello to all I'm new,
But I play a long FS2004, but I have a problem:
When I put the post-combustion (some the aircraft reaction) it does nothing makes me
I would like to know how to resolve this problem as soon as possible

It took me awhile to puzzle this one out, but I think the problem is that you have no after-burner effects for your jet aircraft?

This could be due to the specific model of aircraft you are using.  As FS2004 did not come with a default Mirage 2000, could you tell us specifically which add-on (download) you are using?  If you provide a link to the file, that would be great and could help everyone here help you.

One idea without knowing more about the model you are using:

Have you tried turning on the after-burner using the throttle quadrant in the simulator versus via keyboard or game controller input?  Does it work then, or still no effect?

Have you tried using either SHIFT+F4 or CTRL+F4? I seem to recall one of these combinations often activated the afterburner on add-on models (I don't often fly jets).....

Another thing to check, (the "read me" from the download) would be to see if the afterburner for the model you have relies on an effect file from another add-on. If you could post a link to the exact model you have, I'm sure more help could be offered.

..mmm...the EXACT down load would be helpful...I downloaded this particular one   Mir2000_naked.zip   and after moving the CONTENTS of the included effects folder to the Main FS9 effects folder this was the result.........just came on when I powered up for take off.......give us the Zip file name and we can surely help....commoner ;)
