just reinstalled fs9 in xp and can't open the aircraft cfg. file...or pdf. file...........needs a program??

When opening any cfg file, choose to open it with Windows Notepad (or Wordpad). That should produce the best results.
(Choose "select program from list" and choose note/word pad from there.)
