If you want to extend the range of the ATIS broadcasts (and augment them in other ways too) there is a payware program called RealATIS that allows you to specify the reception range of any given ATIS station.

ATC would usually tell you before you start decent if there's any changes to your original route that was read back to you at clearance. That however, will only work when you're flying online with IVAO or VATSIM, as MSFS ATC is rather crappy.

If you don't use realistic ATC then alt tab and check weather online, if there's not to much of a tailwind land anyway, or you could do a circling approach. Also check if the STAR you're flying can handle diferant runways.

But most of all fly on VATSIM. www.vatsim.net/

or skip point of a STAR or SID, but it already answered my question!

It's easy to do that.

Donno what plane you'are flying, byt try it anyway. Open up the LEGS page on your FMC, click on the LSK key (button) next to the waypoint you want to skip to. It should be selected in the scratch pad. Then just click on the (LSK button) top waypoint you want to skip past. Exe, or Erase if you don't like it.

IFR routes found here:

Thanks!

Well, I don't feel skilled enough to go online, and I don't want to ruin other's gameplay. I was thinking a lot about it, but I don't think it's time yet!

Technically I know how to skip, modify, add points in the FMC, I have no issue with it, I was just wondering if it's normal at all to modify these predefined procedures (in the real life, as in the sim I do what I want) :)

Firstly re SID's  I suggest you incorporate them into your flightplan ie have a couple of fp's ready dependent on take off direction.  So you can engage your FD and AP while your are still on your rwy heading following unstick.

As for STARS the FS9 ATC ignores them but in the real world they are used as are SID's

At  all UK airports where Instrument approaches are mandatory they are rigidly adhered to with very small divergences if traffic is so intense it becomes necessary.
At large airports noise abatement is a serious problem and you MUST fly your SID very accurately to place your a/c over the listening equipment. Not only for that reason. Very often SID's and STARS cross paths and it is essential that vertical separation is maintained.
Real ATC will clear you to altitudes dependent on traffic. eg If there is traffic at FL60 on the stack at Biggin on your SID (which passes closes by) you will only be cleared to FL70
