Rotating Image

When I select an added aircraft in the "select aircraft" screen, the rotating image that appears after I click OK is for a different aircraft.

Can anyone explain why / tell me how to fix it ?

Does this occur with all aircraft, or with specific default and addon aircraft?

Hi ajd. I've never experienced this in any version of MSFS. Can you give me an example of one or two of the aircraft that you have this problem with. I need the file names & pages they're posted on.

This has happened once or twice for me. If you just re-open the aircraft selection window and close it again it should correct the problem I find.
Don't know what causes it but if I remember it will show the first aircraft you have (alphabetically) instead of the one you selected. But if you just go fly now it loads the right one.

It happens with literally any aircraft I add on.

Like Jon H pointed out the rotating image is of the first in the list, alphabetically - in my case the Abacus Airbus. The right image appears at first i.e as you browse the list but after I click OK the airbus will appear instead of the aircraft I selected. Out of curiosity I tried removing the Airbus but the problem repeats displaying whatever is first alphabetically when the Airbus is gone.

It doesn't happen with default aircraft or even with repainted default aircraft. Also like Jon H, when I "go fly" the correct aircraft loads so it's not a major problem, just irritating.

This happens to me. It only happens the first time I select an addon airplane. The next time the new plane shows in the rotating window and every time thereafter. I thought this was common. Dosn't bother me much. :-/

Come to think of it it has happend befor to me and i'm currently developing a config pach, when it comes out ill get you that link. But dont worry its no harm to your sim.
