Everyone has that one airplane...

Postby heelswinagain » Sat Dec 15, 2007 1:35 pm

... you know! It's your favorite aircraft in your favorite livery. I grew up absolutely loving the Delta 737-200 but that was in their old livery with the dark blue paint forming a point at the nose of the aircraft.  These days, I'm in love with the AA Super 80.

So... what's your favorite aircraft?

Let's see what people like out there!

Although this post has been put up a bajillion times I will have to say POSKY 744v4 in Qantas livery. I have lots of really good aircraft. And there are tons more to get. I will probably fall in love with another one in a few minutes. My favorite AC changes every day or so. ;)

Definitly the F-14 Tomcat by Dino Cattaneo, as that "Fleet Defender" is my favourite bird^^
But I also like the IRIS F-35 Joint Strike Fighter which is very good, and easy to handle working VTOL functions!
And the AFS-Design Eurofighter. (The last two are payware). But there are many more I could mention here!

Either the Eaglesoft Citation X or the AFG King Air 300.  Both are high quality models with great panels and sounds.  I like that they are realistic, yet easy enough to fly and operate without referring to a 100 page manual.

I don't usually particpate in these surveys but I thought I would make an exception in this case .............. my 'latest' favourite has to be the Fokker 70/100 by Project Fokker. It's an absolute delight to fly and with the most recent modifications installed, it's even better. The autoland facility has to be experienced to be believed. The Fokker 28 is also worthy of a mention. It has a neat CD player which will give you all the relevant flight/flight attendant announcements. Flight dynamics are truly top class and with lots of options with liveries I would recommend any of these fine aircraft.

Seasonal Greetings to you all.

#1 UH-60 Blackhawk (FS Model by Jordan - Hovercontrol)

#2 A-10 Warthog (FS Model by Aerosoft)

#3 F-22 Raptor (FS Model by Alphasim)

All are the best of the best of their kind!

Blackhawk - The best transport helicopter in my mind.

Warthog - Best ground pounder of all time! Hence "Tank commander's worst nightmare"

Raptor - Best Air Superiority fighter, now the first known Air Dominance aircraft!

There is my fave 3 :D

Kirk Olsson's F-86 Sabre followed closely but Gary Herbert's B-17G.
