Noob: Wondering about installing add-ons

I get how to install new aircraft, but I can't understand how to install repaints. I am new to the forum. So could you please give me a step by step instruction on doing repaints.  :-?

Usually, repaints will have a texture folder, and a text file containing information you'll need to add to the aircraft.cfg file of the model the repaint is for. If you tell us which repaint you're adding, myself or someone else could talk you through it.
