Problem with my sounds

Postby WAX » Tue Dec 11, 2007 7:29 am

hi,
I've got a problem when i choose a jet aircraft downloaded or not.
When i push the reverse thrusts button, it don't work and when i leave the button, the engines go back to idle by themselves.
And sometimes in the place of a jet plane sound, i still have a prop sound! >:( >:( >:(
In my FS9 config i already have this:
[OldModules]
FSSound.dll=1
And when i look in each selected aircrafts sound folders they are exactly as they should be.
I mean for example in Dc10 sound folder, the sound are the default Boeing 737 sound which is quite normal but when i'm playing with, i've got the incorrect sound and my reverse thrusts are not working. And the panel is the original downloded panel from SGA.
But this problem hapens with a lot of my jet planes
What should i do?
Thank You!  :'( :'( :'( :'(

Hello Wax, and welcome to the "V"!  :)

You might be looking at more than one problem here. So lets take it one at a time.

First, are you using a joystick, and if so, are the throttles all the way back when you apply the reverse thrust?

Hmm...What does you sound.cfg read? Paste in the details and maybe we can help out with that...Also, have you deleted any of the default sounds? ;)

Everything's ok, nothing has been deleted in the default sound.
It seems to be like a conflict with a gauge or a sound or something like this since my lasts downloads installed... I guess, but it's annoying.

Hello,

I guess that my problem is solved... I change my Fsuipc.dll from 3.6.0.0 to 3.7.5.0
I've tested all my planes and pushed the reverse thrusts a long time, and changing from jet plane to prop plane and it appears that no sound were confused and my thrusts is still working very well.
Thanks for your help... and if you see excerpt of my Fsuipc.dll any update or change that i'll should do for the others main .dll's above, i'll do apreciate any commentary.

Thank you Simmers!!!

Sorry, correction...

Firstly, my speed isn't blocked so it's not the auto-pilot speed hold but the N1 is blocked at 70% as soon as i choose my plane and hand the game begin. The engine are quite screaming at 70% of N1 without any Hand on the joystick.

Now i detected a strange thing is that when i press the F4 button for full throttles, the throttles on the cockpit screen are quickly tremble from forward to backward an idem for low throttles.
I explain:
When i let my finger on the F4 button, the engines sound increasing with the throttles on screen still trembling faster.
And when i leave my finger from F4, the engines sound decreasing with N1 idle at 70% and throttles on screen still trembling faster again...
It's like a ghost struggling by pushing my throttles back when i push forward... STRANGE!
