Noobie FS2004 Scenery Question

Postby henlua » Fri Nov 16, 2007 7:31 pm

Good Evening Everyone...  I just started FS2004 and already i love it!!  I just have one question.  I live in Southern Quebec, and my local airport (which i actualy work at), St-Georges CYSG, unfortunately has a tree located at the end of the runway in the simulator.  Is there any way to remove it?  And also i don't believe that the runway is as long as it is in R/L.  How would i go about changing that as well?

Thanks for the help,
Henry

Hello henlua, and welcome!

For the removal of the tree/trees, try ExcBuilder v2.0. Just the ticket! ;)  http://www.scenery.org/design_utilities_b.htm

Not sure about the length of the runway though.

To modify runways and other elements of your airport download Afcad v2.21. An excellent manual is included.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

One way to remove unwanted scenery of any kind is to use a flatten switch. If you are unfamiliar with this just GOOGLE the word Flatten and it should give you some links  8-)
