FS9 for Mac OS X

Hey guys,

I'm about to buy a mac next time (finally!! ...just waiting for the money ), the only thing which hurts is the question if there's any flight simulator for Macintosh or FS9 for Mac OS X...

Do you know anything?

I don't think a Mac will ever run FS...

Although it is possible to run Windows on a Mac like I've seen my friend do...

why would a competing brand put the opposing brands software in there's :-? :-? :-?

There isn't one, except maybe some very specific software.... and along that line of thought; if you sim (FS9/FSX/FS?).. A PC is the only way to go. And even aside from that... performance/dollar, a Mac can't come close to a PC.

Well to name a few, macs are much better than any windows pc for work, as long as your company or business supports them, viruses are second to none and the operating system runs much smoother, and trouble free than windows does. Why? Because windows is just a cheap knockoff of the original mac os. I am a hardcore simmer and have been for many years, and I will still say that for entertainment and gaming, windows owns. But for work or school mac is the way to go. And yes, you can run fs on a mac, I have a MacBook and I do it using Win XP with boot camp. But really....dont speculate or talk about macs in comparison to PCs like a lot of people do unless you know enough about both of them. Mac is much much better than a windows PC on many levels, just like PC is better than mac on many levels. A problem with a mac could be called a rare occurance, and viruses are a non-issue. All macs also come with much better wireless capabilities than PCs do, and they all come standard with bluetooth...

That's only what MacIntoshlers and the company itself say - have you ever tried it?!
I believe it isn't much easier at all.
And if you want to work with it, why don't you buy a better office suite - there are about 5 good ones out I think.
And there's also Linux! You can operate many systems with your computer, all on the same hard drive without problems!
And with virtualbox by Innotek or the VMware and Microsoft concurrence you can even run several different OSes simultaneously!

What do we then need an  E X P E N S I V E  Mac for?

This is the oldest debate in the computer world...

Forget about all the specific scenarios (if your company uses Macs and you work at home, it's best to have a Mac... or .. if you work in an MS world, same deal... or .. if you game.. etc...etc..)

A one size fits all, compromises accepted computer, is still a PC... ant to ice it off, you get way more performance for the dollar..

Ahem...there is a Microsoft Office for the Mac OS

Anyways, theres a program called Boot Camp for mac that lets you run XP (or vista if you feel the need, I strongly suggest not) on the mac computer.  Or if you REALLY want to you can reformat the hard drive when you get it and just install XP....

Go beyond Vista...

And any Microsoft Product except FS9 which is I think not bad for learning how to fly an aircraft. I love airplanes and everything about it, I always did and will always do, but nothing, not even the bad hardware or Windows XP will get me away of this!

I'm glad to be in a glider club in Hamburg, so it wouldn't hurt that much, if my PC crashes someday to death, it'd just be a shame not being able to fly on IVAO http://www.ivao.aero, which really does fun you should share with other people who are into airplanes and flying.

I was in Office Depot just the other day an came across a program that would run Windows on Mac (I'm not sure which version of Mac and I think the Windows was XP) But I don't know if FS would even run on that program.
