Can you "Copy & Paste" an entire airport??

Postby Praha » Wed Sep 26, 2007 9:41 am

My local airfield is not included in FS2004, I presume because it is so small. I would like to include it and upgrade it. By upgrade I mean outright copy another airport and paste it in the location where my local airfield should be. I have Aerosoft

You can't just copy and paste. You'd have to change the geographic locale as well or you'd just be pasting the airport over itself. Probably worth having a browse in the Scenery Design forum for some handy hints ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Actually creating a whole new airport would be better than having to go through the process of moving an airport because that would involve useing AFCAD too. I can make you a the airport with almost anything you want in it. :)

I am just a train fan who happens to like flying and attempting to get the better of the mods especially those with 20/20 vision ;D ;D
