Ok, I found an FS9.1 NO CD patch here: http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c910930_0.htm
[glb]BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL FS9.exe BEFORE REPLACING IT WITH THE NOCD VERSION![/glb]

I have tested it and found safe and functional.

I installed the patch on FS with the old no cd patch. Works fine. Try it. The worst that can happen is the install will abort with FS still working.

Hi G_Tester, Welcome to SimV.

What grounds did Microsoft give for refusing to replace the disk?  This is kinda' unusual.  Typically they are pretty good about replcaing damaged or defective stuff if you have the appropriate documentation of the original proof of purchase.

I am assuming here that it is the disk that needs to be in the disk drive that you are talking about?

best,

Has anybody noticed the autopilot losing the ability to pilot the plane post patch. Noticeable thus far in the Boeing 777 ? Attempts to set up a climb (around 1700 feet per..... 300+ KIAS) result in the autothrottle oscillating wildly, followed by an unrecoverable nose up stall. All in all very un-airline like.
Patch being removed here.....

Hi raisen..welcome to the forum.....just given the 777 default a tryout...not my favourite aeroplane but a sweet take off and climb out using the settings you gave.....not a problem for me at least. The patch has been worthwhile for me in all departments

I'm having terrible problems with the joystick. Each time I start the patched version (with or without the no-cd) it's forgotten my joystick calibration and I have to exit, recallibrate and go back in.

I've gone back to v9.0 which, blissfully, works just fine.

Is there a no-cd patch for that version? Can anyone give me a trusttweorthy link?

Cheers all!
