traffic.dll

Postby pilothunt » Thu Sep 20, 2007 9:02 am

I started FS2004 and I got the error that the traffic.dll is missing or has been damaged.  Told me to reload FS2004.  Where did it go and how could this happen?  I checked out the file where it is supposed to be located and it's gone. Do I have to reload FS2004 or can I download the dll?

First, did you check your recycle bin and do a search for the file in case it just got misplaced?

If you don't find it, you can recover it from CD2\MSGAME3.cab.

A problem may exist though as 'traffic.dll' is one of the files updated in the FS9.1 update. If your CD's installed FS9.1 you're good to go. If you ran the FS91upd.exe you may have to do an FSUpdateUninstall and then reinstall the update.

Outcome:  I had to go to the FS2004 Disk 2 and retrieve the traffic.dll file.  Works like a champ now.  Thanks for your help.
